Welcome to our little corner of the internet, where the air always smells like freshly baked desserts and the joy of the holidays is a year-round affair.

My journey with sugar cookies started when I was just 14. I wanted to make and decorate some Christmas cookies. So, I pulled down my mom's copy of The Better Homes & Garden cookbook. If you are a child of the 70's or 80's, I am sure you are familiar with it... That red checked exterior and the large dark blue lettering on the front. It's such a piece of nostalgia now. I opened it up and found the sugar cookie recipe that would literally change my life. The first batch wasn't perfect, but the experience was magical. From that moment, I was hooked.

Every year since that first attempt, sugar cookies became a staple of our holiday traditions. The recipe was perfected over time, and the decorations became more creative. What started as a Christmas activity soon spread to other holidays—Valentine’s hearts, Easter eggs, Halloween pumpkins. Each batch carried memories of love, laughter, and the joy of creating something delicious!

As I grew older, I had my own children, and naturally, they joined in the fun. Our kitchen turned into a wonderland of sprinkles, royal icing, and colorful candies. Each holiday brought new opportunities for creativity, and I watched my kids, younger family members and my kids' friends light up as they decorated their own cookies. It was messy, but those were the best times. The kitchen, filled with the aroma of freshly baked cookies and our house, filled with laughter and joy.

After years of sharing these moments with family and friends, I decided to create something that others could enjoy too. Our Christmas Sugar Cookie Decorating Boxes were born out of a desire to spread this joy far and wide. There’s something incredibly special about taking a moment to create, decorate, and savor the simple pleasure of a sugar cookie. With our decorating boxes, you can start a new tradition in your family or gift it to friends and loved ones. Who knows, maybe one day, your kids will be sharing this sweet tradition with their own children.
At this special time of year, I enjoy remembering all the special times I have had through the years making these cookies. All because of this simple sugar cookie. I hope that our cookies bring as much joy to your home as they have to ours. Happy decorating, and may your holidays be as sweet as the cookies you create!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Warmly, Aunt Gingibread
